I’ve been living in Sturbridge since July 2012, and am very happy with it. My two bedroom apartment is just the right size for my roommate and I, and I love the layout with a separate dining room. They are also very flexible with painting the apartments! Rent is reasonable. The staff are always in a great mood, and very helpful; maintenance always comes quickly, and usually fixes the problem in a timely manner as well. The location is super convenient, with Kroger, Restaurants, etc being only a two minute walk away. It is a pretty quiet place as well, I’ve never been able to hear a peep from any of the neighboring apartments. The only downside is the kitchen. It’s a tight squeeze for more than 1 person, and there isn’t much counter space. The appliances are a bit out-of-date, and there isn’t a pantry. But, even those negatives don’t way out how great the complex is.
I have lived here since August 2011 and I absolutely love this place. The apartment is bright and spacious. The living room is huge and the dining room is so nice and cozy. Actually there are 3 bus stops close to Sturbridge as you have the option of taking the Math Emporium bus if you missed the other 2 and walk home while you pass CVS, Rite Aid, Kroger, Post OFFice, Macedo’s, 5 Guys, Sturbucks and a lot more convenient places. Don’t forget about the maintenance. These guys are awesome! We had a problem with our water on Christmas EVe and they appeared at our door just in time to see through our problem. If there is one thing I would like to change is a bit more modern kitchen as the appliances & cabinets are a little more.
Sturbridge Square is in a fantastic location. I love that it’s right next to the Blacksburg Kroger. I have and would recommend for friends to live here. EG
